갤러리 시몬은 새로운 회화를 모색해온 노상균 작가의 개인전 <Daydreamer’s Tears>를 2020년 12월 3일부터 2021년 3월 27일까지 선보입니다. 시퀸을 통해 독자적인 미학적 조형언어를 확립해왔던 작가는 긴 시간 후 축광안료라는 작업적 페르소나를 만나며 예술가로서의 또 다른 삶의 이유와 여정을 보이고 있습니다. 지난 개인전에서 선보인 지문(fingerprints)을 주조로 한 우주적 차원의 작가의 세계관은 입자(particles), 몽상가(daydreamers), 눈물(tears)이라는 작가적 연민이 스며든 세 키워드로 빛나고 있습니다. 빛과 어둠, 무한하고 사소하며 동시에 숭고한 시공간을 경험해보시길 희망합니다.

Gallery Simon presents Noh, Sang-Kyoon's solo exhibition <Daydreamer’s Tears> from December 3, 2020 to March 27, 2021. Noh who has established his original, aesthetic language through sequins finds a new path of making art by employing phosphorescent pigment. Based on the images of fingerprints in his previous exhibition, Noh’s current viewpoint is widely expanded and includes cosmic particles, daydreamers, and tears; three keywords representing his artistic compassion.
